What I am passionate about

I read the UN future report 2040 that had a lot of information about the environment and what countries including industrialized nations and developed countries should do to solve the environmental problems. I started to think that we should stop destroying the Earth because the clean and beautiful environment is not our property, but our descendants' property that we should hand down. Because I realized the environment's importance, I am now passionate about saving the Earth and set my dream as being an environmental engineer.

Saving the Earth is not something that only experts can do. People can stop riding cars and creating a lot of trash. What experts can do is creating the alternative energy instead of fossil fuel. Because the climate change is getting more and more severe, I am now very passionate about renewable energy even though I am young. It is very hard and expensive to change people's thoughts about saving the Earth. But if teens who are going to be the owner of the mother Earth changes their thought about the Earth and think that Earth is very important and it is where not only human but also other living things, the Earth might become a place where many creatures live together.

Many children in my age does not know a lot about the Earth and just think vaguely that we should save the Earth. So, I am trying to change their thought about the environment and when people realize the danger of destroying the environment, I feel worth about my hard work.
